The 2014 Ontario Summer Games wrapped up on August 10 as medals were awarded in all Sports. Over the three days of competition over a 1000 medals were awarded to participants. Athletes from all over Ontario gained valuable experience at the Games and hope to use these Games as a stepping stone to Canada Games, Pan Am/Parapan Am Games, Olympic and Paralympic success.
A big 'thank you' goes out to the hosts of the 2014 Ontario Summer Games, the City of Windsor. Their months of preparation and planning led to a successful Games and praises of athletes, coaches, managers and Provincial Sports Organizations.

The Ontario Games program will turn its focus to Amherstburg/Windsor for the 2014 Ontario 55+ Summer Games taking place August 19 to 21. Over 1200 participants including athletes, coaches and officials will take part in 18 different sports such as golf, lawn bowling, slo-pitch, swimming, tennis, euchre, bocce, darts and five-pin bowling.
